How strict are information requirements?

I'm trying to decide between ordering a Minnesota ID or a Wisconsin ID, and I could use some input from people with experience.

My situation:
• Currently living in Minnesota
• Will primarily use locally, but occasionally travel to neighboring states
• Want something that won't raise eyebrows or look suspicious

My thinking:

Option 1: Get Minnesota (home state)
Pros: Makes sense to have local ID, won't seem odd
Cons: Bouncers/cashiers here see them daily, might scrutinize more?

Option 2: Get Wisconsin (different state)
Pros: Less familiarity might mean less scrutiny, common for students to have out-of-state IDs
Cons: Might raise questions about why I have an out-of-state ID while living here

What do you guys think? Has anyone used an out-of-state ID in their home state successfully? Or is it better to just match where you live?

Also open to other state suggestions if there's a particular state that's known to work well anywhere.

My shipping took 13 days to Minnesota too. Seems pretty consistent with their estimates.

I'd recommend getting a backup if you can afford it. Having two gives you peace of mind.

Make sure all your information is accurate before submitting. Double and triple check everything.

I was in the exact same position as you. So glad I took the chance.

UV features all check out perfectly. I tested mine with a blacklight to verify.

Standard shipping worked perfectly fine for me. No need to rush unless you're in a hurry.
