Need help deciding which state ID to get. I live in South Carolina and will mainly use it locally, but I'm not sure if I should get my actual state or choose a different one.

Context:
• College student living in South Carolina
• Will use primarily at local convenience stores, liquor stores, maybe bars
• Not planning anything high-risk
• Want something that won't raise suspicion

My dilemma:

Option 1: Get South Carolina (my actual state)
Pros: Logical to have local ID, won't be questioned
Cons: Local bouncers/cashiers see real South Carolina IDs every day - might scrutinize more closely?

Option 2: Get a different state
Pros: Less familiar = potentially less scrutiny, common for college students
Cons: Might seem odd why I have out-of-state ID

Questions for experienced users:
1. Which approach generally works better?
2. Are certain states known to work better universally?
3. Does it matter that much or am I overthinking?
4. Has anyone successfully used out-of-state ID in their home state?

I want to make the smart choice here. Any advice would be really appreciated!

Every security feature is present and accurate. They don't cut corners.

If you're in the South Carolina area, this is definitely the way to go.

Price is higher but the success rate makes it worth every penny honestly.

Can confirm the quality. Used mine last weekend at multiple places with zero issues.

The card material feels exactly like a real ID. Weight and flexibility are perfect.

The quality really is worth the price. I tried a cheap one before and it was a total waste of money.
