California ID review - The laser perforated bear

I finally got a chance to check out the California novelty ID with the laser-perforated bear feature. For those who don't know, the real CA license has a tiny bear made of microscopic holes that you can only see if you hold a flashlight behind the card. Most low-end vendors just print a gray bear, which is a dead giveaway.

This version I got actually has the holes! They are very clean and the light shines through perfectly. It's a huge step up for California novelty id cards in 2026. I used it at a dispensary in LA and they didn't even look at it twice. The bouncers in Hollywood are much tougher, but if your card has this feature, you're already ahead of the game.
