Which state is best for a first fake ID?

If you're a complete beginner, picking the right state is half the battle. I see too many people go for California or New York right away because they live there or want to be 'cool,' but those are some of the hardest states to get right. For your first card, I highly recommend something like Ohio or Pennsylvania.

These states have security features that are very well-understood by vendors. The UV patterns and the 2D barcodes are consistently accurate. Also, bouncers in other parts of the country won't be as familiar with every tiny detail of an Ohio ID compared to their own local state. It's much easier to pass if the person checking it isn't an expert on that specific template.
