The signature on a novelty id card is often overlooked, but it shouldn't be. Real IDs have a signature that is either laser-engraved or printed with a very fine, sharp line. If the signature on your card is thick, blurry, or looks like it was drawn with a marker, it is a huge red flag for any bouncer.
I suggest comparing the signature on your ID to a real one (or even your own signature on a credit card). It should be crisp and thin. Many low-end vendors use low-resolution printers that can't handle the fine curves of a signature. If you can't see the individual pen strokes, the card is not high-quality. Stay sharp out there!
