The back of a novelty id card is often where vendors get lazy. Real IDs have back elements (like the barcode, the ghost image, and the text) that are precisely aligned. Many fakes have a back that is slightly crooked or has uneven margins, which is a red flag for any bouncer who flips the card over.
I suggest checking the alignment of the barcode relative to the edges of the card. It should be perfectly parallel. If it's tilted even by a millimeter, it is a sign of a low-quality operation. Also, check that the ghost image on the back is in the correct position for that state's template. Don't let a 10/10 front be ruined by a 2/10 back!
