Does anyone have tips for Florida bouncers?

I'm heading to Miami next week and I'm a bit nervous about the security there. I have a Florida novelty ID that looks great, but I've heard that bouncers in Florida are super aggressive with UV lights and tilt checks. Does anyone have specific tips for dealing with Miami doormen? Do they usually scan or just look?

I've been practicing my address and I know my zip code by heart. I also have a backup credit card with the same name. Is there anything else I should be prepared for? I've heard they sometimes check the OVI flower shift under a very bright light. Any advice from locals or frequent visitors would be much appreciated before I head down!
