Thinking about Massachusetts for my next order, any advice?

I'm stuck between getting a California ID or a New Jersey one—which one is actually scanning right now?

I'm curious if anyone else has had issues with the 2D barcode on these? Mine worked at the gas station but a buddy of mine said his failed at a major chain. Consistency seems to be the main issue with the budget shops lately. Spend the extra money on a premium vendor if you can.

Technical Details

• Scannability: Worked on BCS and every other app I tried.
• UV Reactivity: The hidden bear/outline was bright under a blacklight.
• Perforations: Laser holes are clean and visible when held to the light.

I took it to a gas station last night to see if it would actually hold up. The guy at the door didn't even use a scanner, he just ran his thumb over the tactile DOB and checked the UV with a torch. It passed without him saying a single word. I was pretty shaky but the card did the work for me.

Make sure you know your data before you head out. A bouncer asked me for my secondary zip code and I almost blanked. The card can be 1:1, but if your behavior is off, you're going to lose it. Practice in front of a mirror if you have to.
